Some fun times
BATH!!
Brian loves bath time! He had found a knob on the counter and had to put it in his mouth, he looked cute and didn't even cry when we took it away from him, maybe this will be a turning point, ya right! He sure does act like a one year old when you take something away from him, screaming all way.
Brayden loves his tonka truck, I think it is the only toy to survive him! He has to take it with him everywhere! I do love the fact that he doesn't carry it but he drives it, he will never pick it up unless he is on the stairs! His favorite thing is when the "trash can truck" comes every Friday, he has to be sitting on the porch watching. He can sit for hours waiting and is just happy knowing the trash can truck is coming. I asked him last week if he is going to drive a trash can truck and when he gets bigger and he responded with a nice loud "YES!" I couldn't help the smile.

We have a horse pasture across from our house so we bought some carrots to go and feed them. The horses are so beautiful and taken care of that I don't mind taking Brayden and Brian over to see them. Brayden was scared and stood back a little but I did get him to pet the tan one in the end. Ben held Brian and they both had a fun time giving the carrots to the horses. Brian laughed and laughed, I'm pretty sure he liked them. He wanted to touch them and even tried to give one a kiss, we didn't let that happen! Now we have to go buy more carrots...

Easter
We went to my moms for Easter and had a good time. My brother set out chocolate eggs in the yard and Brayden had a blast looking for them. Later on in the day we were all hanging out and Brayden went around giving out all of his chocolate. For not being very good at sharing he does like to share. We all ate tons of ham, I didn't even know Brayden liked ham, he almost ate more then Ben, almost.

The holidays
The holidays are some of the best times of the year. Families make an effort to come together and you can always count on some good food and even better laughs!

In Germany it is a tradition to open gifts on the night of Christmas Eve, This is a tradition that I have always done growing up and plan to do with my children. This works out quit nicely as we are at my parents Christmas Eve and we can spend Christmas day with Bens family. This is something that will never change. Ben and I talked about this before Brayden was even born and I'm glad that he liked the idea too. We spend all day at my parents house helping with dinner, setting the table, or even just talking. This year is a little more special to me because it will be the first Christmas without foster kids in a long time. I don't know if anyone can understand that, having multiple kids act like brats because they have to be in a strangers house for the holidays and not with their own families, can you really blame them?? This is the first year that we don't have to worry about anything and nothing can ruin that for me. Ben and I have our tradition and that is not going to change for anyone. I'm sorry every one cant have what they want but that's just how it is.

I want to see my mothers smile on Christmas Eve because I cared enough not to give up on my tradition. I love her and this is also my parents holiday and I intend to enjoy every part of it with them! I cant wait to see my grandmother although it will be hard with to see her without my grandaddy and I cant wait for her to meet her newest grandson. I know she will love them as much as they will love her!

Playing
Brayden has also gotten to the stage where he wants to give you the phone. When the phone rings I dont have to worry about getting it because Brayden will pop up and run to it, and hand it to me or Ben. He is becoming more and more helpful each day, although he does still have his bad days, he can do so much.
